2023 Alumni Scholarships

Thank you to everyone that submitted a scholarship application for the 2023 Alumni Scholarship. The application deadline date has now passed and we are no longer accepting applications. We will be selecting the recipients at our next monthly meeting on June 13, 2023.  We will notify scholarship recipients as soon as possible after that date!

2023 Alumni Scholarship Applications are now open!

We will be awarding ten (10) $1,000 scholarships to Erie High School Alumni.

Erie High Booster Club is proud to support the continuing educations of our Alumni. 

My name is Juliana Grimes and I recently graduated Lash and Company Education and got my esthetician license! I am now continuing my esthetics education by taking advanced courses such as dermaplaning, microneedling and chemical peels. Thank you EHS Booster Club!

I am attending Savannah College of Art and Design with a major in graphic design and minors in photography and drawing. I have had the opportunity to study abroad, work as a freelance artist, and learn alongside fellow artists from around the world. I love the opportunities SCAD has already supplied to me and look forward to continuing a creative career that encourages, inspires, and helps those around me. I am so thankful I was able to discover my passions while at Erie High School and turn them into professions. Thank you again for my scholarship it means so much to have support for my education.

My name is Josie. I’m going to Colorado State and studying Sociology with a concentration in criminology and criminal justice.

My name is Kennnidy Sakalosky and I am a student at Arizona State University Edson College of Nursing and Health Innovation. I will graduate in December 2023 with my RN-BSN and I hope to work in the Operating room as a Circulating Nurse after passing the NCLEX! 

I am currently in my third year at the University of Nevada Las Vegas! I am pursuing a major in anthropology and a minor in political science. I have many different interests so I’m just trying to take the classes I’m most interested in and continue to learn! I’m also involved on campus as a member of Sigma Kappa Sorority and currently hold a leadership position in my chapter!

Hi! My name is Mia Taskey, and I am a junior at Chapman University in southern California.  I am an applied human physiology major and double minoring in dance and psychology!  I plan to continue my academic career by getting my doctorate in physical therapy and continue dancing alongside.  I would like to thank the EHS booster club for supporting me in my journey!  

I am attending Colorado State University and am in my third year! I am double majoring in Sociology with a concentration in Criminal Justice and Psychology with a concentration in Addictions Counseling!

My name is Tyler Gardner, I am studying the Automotive Industry Management at Colorado State University-Pueblo. I will be majoring in the AIM program here while doing a double minor in business and supervisory management. 

Alex Ailey - Class of 2018

I am a 5th year Geography student at the University of Kansas, and I graduated from Erie in 2018!

I am attending Nightingale College pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree to  become a NICU RN. I am planning to return to school afterwards and work towards a Master of Science in Nursing to obtain my Nurse Practitioner License. Thank you so much for helping me reach my goals! 

Currently, I'm studying integrative physiology at the University of Colorado Boulder. I'm excited to be graduating this upcoming spring and I'm in the process of applying to nursing schools.
