MEET OUR BOARD OF DIRECTORS
President (acting) - Matt Powell
Matt is a 15+ year Erie resident as well as a native of Colorado. Matt is a local Mortgage Banker with Luminate Home Loans for the last 15 years. He married his wife Jamie, from Arvada, 18 years ago and they have two boys; Cole (16), a sophomore at EHS and Logan (13), an 8th grader at EMS. As a former High School football coach for 15 years in Jefferson County, he’s got a tremendous passion for helping kids and respect for what challenges our coaches, leaders, teachers, and club leaders are presented daily. His goals is to always leave things better that when you arrived and to champion EHS students and strive to make the best of their four years at EHS! #RowTheBoat

Secretary - Jennifer Slater
Jennifer Slater has lived in and around Erie for the past 17 years and is a native of Michigan. She married her husband Dustin 19 years ago and they have 4 children; Owen (16) a junior at EHS, Juliet (14) a freshman at EHS, Preston (12) a 7th grader at EMS, and Luke (9) a 4th grader at Grandview Elementary. Her kids are actively involved in volleyball, cross country, basketball, soccer, track & field, choir, band and theater, and utilize services in special education and gifted & talented. As a former teacher, she is hoping to support the interests, activities and needs of the range of students at EHS, as well as the teachers, coaches, staff and administrators that provide for the students.
Treasurer - Kate Arnold
Kate is originally from Wisconsin, has lived in Colorado for over 20 years, and has resided in the Erie area for 15 years. Kate and her husband Jeff were married in 2016 and have 2 sons. Aden is a sophomore at EHS and Jack is in 8th grade at EMS, both are involved in several Erie athletic programs. Kate has an extensive background in veterinary medicine and veterinary education and is also a residential contractor. These days you will find her working alongside Jeff in their family business, Complete Exteriors of Colorado. As an EHS parent, former educator, administrator, and textbook author, Kate has an interest in supporting the students and everyone at EHS and looks forward to cultivating lasting relationships throughout the school.
Concession Committee Chair - Krista Ailey
Krista was born and raised in Boulder. She moved away after college, but returned to live in Erie 12 1/2 years ago. She will celebrate 25 years of marriage to her husband Kenny in July. They have 2 boys. Alex (23) is a senior at KU and will graduate in May. Zach (20) lives in Fort Collins and attends Front Range Community College. They have two dogs to keep them company now that the boys are off to college. Krista runs the concessions stand for EHS.
Bingo Committee Chair - Michelle Kelley
Michelle Kelley is a Colorado native who moved to Erie in 1999. She works for the University of Colorado's Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics and is currently working with the United Arab Emirates on the Emirates Mars Mission (EMM) and a new project, Multi-Asteroid eXplorer (MAX). Her two kids, Morgan and Dylan, are both EHS graduates and are currently attending CU. She is the lead Games Manager for the Booster Club's bingo program, and her goal is to raise over $1 million dollars in scholarships and money for EHS and our community.
After Prom Committee Chair - Michelle Hall
Michelle and her husband Steve have lived in Erie, CO for almost 20 years with their 6 kids - Alek, Jordyn, Dylan, Zack, Darryk and Riley. All of her children have either attended Erie Schools or Peak to Peak in Lafayette, CO. She is the owner of Open Door LLC and has been a general contractor. Michelle has volunteered on many different Board of Directors, subcommittees, athletic teams along with the EHS Booster Club. As an EHS parent who is invested in the impact EHS has on students, teachers, staff and the community, Michelle does everything she can to volunteer and facilitate long lasting partnerships at the school and in the community.
