MEET OUR BOARD OF DIRECTORS
President - Matt Powell
Matt is a 17-year resident as well as a native of Colorado. Matt is a local Mortgage Banker with Luminate Home Loans. Matt and his wife Jamie have two boys; Cole (17) a Junior at EHS, and Logan (14) a Freshman at EHS. As a former high school football coach for 15 years in Jefferson County, he's got a tremendous passion for for helping kids, and respect for the challenges our coaches, teachers, admin and club leaders are presented with daily. His goal is to always leave things better than when he arrived, and to champion EHS students while striving to make the best of their four years at EHS! #RowTheBoat
Vice President & Spirit Wear Chair - Kate Arnold
Kate is originally from Wisconsin, and moved to Colorado 20 years ago. She has resided in Erie for the last 15 years. Kate and her husband Jeff have two sons; Aden, a sophomore at EHS, and Jack, an 8th grader at EMS. Both are involved in numerous sports and programs. Kate has an extensive background in veterinary medicine and education, but currently works in the residential contracting business. She and her husband Jeff run their family business, Complete Exteriors of Colorado. As an EHS parent she has an interest in supporting the students and everyone at EHS. She looks forward to cultivating relationships throughout the school.
Secretary - Jenn Slater
Jenn is a Michigan native that has resided in and around Erie for the past 18 years. She and her husband Dustin have four children; Owen (17) a junior at EHS, Juliet (15) a freshman at EHS, Preston (12) a 7th grader at EMS, and Luke (10) a 4th grader at Grandview Elementary. Her kids school activities range from volleyball, cross country, basketball, soccer, track & field, choir, band and theater, and they utilize services in special education and gifted & talented. As a former teacher, she is hoping to support the interests, activities and needs of the broad range of students at EHS, as well as the teachers, coaches, staff and administrators that provide for students.
Treasurer - Anneli Taylor
Anneli is originally from Estonia and has lived in Erie for over six years. She and her husband Josh have 2 children: Karsten (EHS) and Aleks (Highlands Elementary). Mot recently, Anneli served as the Treasurer of the Highlands Elementary PTO. Anneli is an active Colorado CPA with over 20 years of experience in for-profits, non-profits, financial services, financial reporting, tax, and audit. She looks forward to supporting the students and staff of EHS and strengthening school and community relationships.
Bingo Chair - Michelle Kelley
Michelle is a Colorado native who moved to Erie in 1999. She works for the University of Colorado's Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics and is currently working with the United Arab Emirates on the Emirates Mars Mission (EMM) and a new project, Multi-Asteroid Explorer (MAX). Her two kids, Morgan and Dylan, are both EHS graduates and are currently attending CU. She is the lead Games Manager for the Booster Club's Bingo program, and her goal is to raise $1 million dollars in scholarships and money for EHS and our community.
Concessions Chair - Raelene Navulur
Raelene is a Montana native that moved to Colorado 22 years ago and has been in the local area since 2004. She and her husband Kumar have two children; Carter, age 17 and a junior at EHS, and Eliza, age 16 and a sophomore at EHS. Her kids participate on the boy's golf team, marching and symphonic band, and the aerospace engineering program. Prior to joining the Booster Club, she was a PTO board member in one role or another for 9 years at her kids' elementary and middle schools. Her passion is being able to see schools provide as many opportunities and experiences for students and staff as possible.
Concessions Manager - Krista Ailey
Krista was born and raised in Boulder. She moved away after college and returned to Erie 12 1/2 years ago. Krista and her husband Kenny have two boys who graduated from Erie High School. Alex (23) is a senior at the University of Kansas, while Zach (20) lives in Fort Collins and attends Front Range Community College. They have two dogs that keep them company now that their boys are off to college! Krista does an amazing job staffing and running the concessions stands for all sporting events.
After Prom Chair - Michelle Hall
Michelle and her husband Steve have lived in Erie for almost 20 years with their six kids - Alek, Jordyn, Dylan, Zack, Darryk and Riley. Michelle has volunteered on many different Board of Directors, accountability committees, fundraising committees and athletic teams along with the EHS Booster Club. As an EHS parent who is invested in the impact EHS has on students, teachers, staff and the community, Michelle does everything she can to volunteer and facilitate long-lasting partnerships at the school and in the community.
Scholarship Coordinator - Steve Biodrowski
Steve is originally from Nebraska (Go Big Red!) and moved to the Tri-Town area in 2010. He is a shop manager and lead auto technician at B-Town Automotive in Berthoud, CO. Steve and his wife, Jaclyn, have a daughter that graduated college in 2022, and a son that is a current freshman (class of 2026) at EHS that plays football and lacrosse. Steve is excited to be involved in the scholarship selection and other Booster Club activities that support our students and staff.
Staff Appreciation & EHS Staff Liaison - Jaclyn Biodrowski
Jaclyn has lived in Colorado since 1987 and has resided in the Tri-Town area since 2012. She is a certified athletic trainer by trade, and currently the Center Manager at CU Sports Medicine and Performance Center in Boulder. Jaclyn and her husband, Steve, have a daughter that graduated college in 2022, and a son that is a current freshman (class of 2026) at EHS that plays football and lacrosse. Jaclyn has enjoyed volunteering throughout her children's school years and looks forward to continuing this involvement at Erie High School with the teachers, coaches, staff and students.
Advertising and Sponsorship Chair - Chris Powell
Chris moved to Colorado with his family after retiring from the U.S. Navy in 2016. Now he serves as the Chief Security Officer for the largest health system in Colorado. He and his wife Kristen are the proud parents to Braydon (16) a Junior aerospace engineering and honors student who is also a varsity football player and wrestler at EHS. Chris is looking forward to supporting the students, faculty and mission of EHS.
